Sweet Jubilee has a long history of creating artisanal and gourmet confections for stores in Pennsylvania and beyond.
Henry Fry, the current Chairman of the Board of Fry Communications, built upon the success of a small, local specialty sweet company, Brittle Bark®, by expanding its offerings, capabilities and staff in 2010 under the new name “Sweet Jubilee.”
Why? While he loves sweets, Henry’s main goal was in ensuring continued, positive employment opportunities for the people of Mechanicsburg, PA. As the largest employer in the small Pennsylvania city, Henry foresaw the need to diversify employment opportunities as printing demands shifted.
Since its start in 2010, Sweet Jubilee has expanded to carry over 100 year round products, multiple seasonal/holiday treats, and employs over 30 people. We’ve grown from a local favorite to a national brand carried by discerning grocers, retailers, gourmet markets and wholesale gourmet gift buyers around the nation.
Our significant growth has not compromised our dedication to our craft. Our goodies are still created by real people with love. All of our treats are made in small batches with premium ingredients and artisanal touches. We have stayed true to the Brittle Bark® process and recipes while expanding into the world of pretzels, roasted peanuts, premium chocolates, peanut butter, caramel and popular cookies.
We proudly carry Brittle Bark (named ‘Snack of The Day’ by Rachel Ray) as well as Sweet Knots, Pretzels, Cookies, Chocolates, and Seasonal Specialties.
Sweet Jubilee stands out in aisles and in the industry because we create original blends of sweet, crunchy, salty, crispy, and creamy goodness that turn any day into a celebration. Our product line includes everyday indulgences in convenient resealable pouches and special gift/seasonal items with clear packaging and ribbons that give an eye-popping taste of the goodness to come.
We are proud to continue growing while staying true to our original vision: offering trend-forward, inspired combinations of flavors and textures using impeccably fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our sweets, treats and snacks prove that you can have a sophisticated palate and still enjoy the fun and fanciful aspects of everyday gourmet indulgence – all at an accessible price point!!
